Our story
In 2019, two structural engineers – Luca Rossi 
Prof. Luca Salvatori, PhDCo-founder and Technical Director Co-founder of Sphera Engineering and Associate Professor of Structural Engineering at the University of Florence. He has taught at Gonzaga University in Florence and, since 2015, has been teaching Mechanics of Solids at Syracuse University Florence.
Author of over ninety scientific publications covering topics such as masonry mechanics, wind engineering, earthquake engineering, steel and reinforced-concrete structures, and computational mechanics.
He is an expert in structural design and rehabilitation, the development of advanced engineering software, and numerical modeling.

and Johan Hoxha 
Eng. Johan HoxhaCo-founder and Managing Director Co-founder of Sphera Engineering, structural engineer with extensive experience in the design and management of complex civil and industrial projects.
Specialized in the application of advanced structural analysis and design techniques, he combines project management skills with a strong command of numerical methods and the use of innovative materials for structural strengthening and seismic retrofitting.
